Community Action Agency has been assisting low and moderate-income families and individuals for over thirty (30) years with a variety of human services, and economic development initiatives. The mission of C-L-M Community Action Agency is to mobilize and utilize resources, public and private, in an attack on poverty; to provide decent housing that is affordable to low-income persons; to provide services that improve the conditions under which people live. Community Action administers programs such as Early Childhood Education (Head Start), Senior Services (Nutrition, Home Delivered Meals, In-Home Services, Adult Day Care), Housing, Weatherization and Transportation. In addition, the Agency operates other programs including: homeless prevention, rapid rehousing, supportive services, emergency services, Supportive Services for Veterans and their Families (SSVF), Targeted Food Assistance Program (TFAP), and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP).
