First Baptist Church Baby Pantry, 2nd & 4th Monday of each month, 11am-1pm at The First Baptist Church, 116 E. McMillan, Newberry. Use entrance off Handy St. For parents of children ages 2 and under. For more information call 906-293-5641 Tuesday-Friday from 10am-noon.
The Alzheimer Caregivers Support Group will meet at the Huron room at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital, 502 W. Harrie St, Newberry, MI on the second and fourth Monday of every month from 6pm-7pm. For more information please call Tim Fillmore at 906-293-9156.

Great Lakes Recovery Center provides Peer Support Services in the Newberry area. Peer Support focuses on providing an environment where people from the community, who are living in recovery, work with people who are currently receiving treatment for a substance abuse disorder. These Community based Peer Recovery Specialists serve as a resource and support system for others who are currently in treatment and who are living in recovery. "Free Community Fellowship Meal" The Free Community Fellowship Meal will be served from 5:00-6:30pm at the Newberry First Presbyterian Church 113 West John Street on the third Thursday of each month. In addition to the meal there will also be activities for kids. Everyone is welcome to join for the meal, however no meals will be served to go. Fish Fry Feb. 19th, March 18th, April 15th and May 13th at Columbus Township Hall. Sponsored by the McMillan United Methodist Women. Battered Pollock, potatoes, relish tray, coleslaw, baked beans, bread, dessert coffee & punch. $10 donation and there will be a baked goods sale.

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church will be serving a Community Breakfast the last Saturday of every month from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
The Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is located at 321 West John Street in Newberry and friends, neighbors, families, and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a free Community Breakfast the last saturday of the month complete with meat, eggs, pancakes, coffee or juice.
