Annual Free Fishing Weekend

The Department of Natural Resources wants to remind everyone the annual Winter Free Fishing Weekend is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13, and Sunday, Feb. 14. That weekend, everyone – residents and non-residents alike – can fish without a license, though all other fishing regulations still apply.

34th Woodhhoppers Ball

The 34th Woodchoppers Ball will be held at the American Legion Hall in Newberry. From 5pm-7pm there will be a Roast Beef & Pork Dinner with hot veggies, salad, dessert & beverage. Dinner and dance tickets are $12.00 and must be purchased by March 11th. For the dance only: $5 and pay at the door.
